Omata Estate is a boutique vineyard situated in a stunning location on a sheltered hilltop with wonderful views across the vines to the bay. Their lovely wooden restaurant, brick paths, terraced and sunny garden are reminiscent of an old French vineyard, which creates a perfect atmosphere to sit back, relax and enjoy a glass of wine with delicious wood-fired pizza.
It is a lovely 10km walk – through Russell township, across mangrove boardwalks, through native bush and has coastal views.
Includes wine tasting and beautiful food, and each wine tasting goes through 5 different varietals of wine all grown on the property.
Catching a minibus back to HQ at the end of it all.

Assemble HQ: 12.30pm
Arrive: at about 4.00pm pm at Omata Vineyard for wood-fired homemade pizza and wine tasting.
Depart from Omata: 6pm (takes approx. 15 mins)
